Bui Quoc Chi poses in front of some of the most valued works in his gallery

Duc Minh 's youngest son, Mr. Bui Quoc Chi has kept on his father’s way.  Gallery Duc Minh located in 23 Ly Tu Trong street, district 1 is the address familiar with painters and art-lovers, the site presenting a lot of high quality exhibitions over the past years. Duc Minh has also organized big shows in the Metropolitan tower such as the exhibition of introducing a big volume of Nguyen Gia Tri Artist’s masterpieces and particularly his scarce lacquer paintings which are now in the custody of Duc Minh collection . 

     

 

To complete his father’s will, Chi has just invested to build a big-sized showroom in 31C Le Quy Don street, district 3. In the house, all equipment supporting maintenance and exhibition of art works meet standards of the national fine art museums where Chi visited for many times. In addition to the ground and the first floor available for showing paintings, the house also has a basement only presenting scarce masterpieces. Chi will be executing to finish procedures so that the government authorities recognize the showroom as the Duc Minh private museum. The house also is a place to commemorate the collector in connection with foundation and development of the Vietnam new fine art originated from Fine Art College of Indochina’s birth.

  The Duc Minh private museum will be officially inaugurated with an exhibition of significant art works in the Duc Minh’s collection or Bui Quoc Chi’s.
